Multi File Renamer is a simple tool to batch rename files. Like any other mentioned software, even this one lets you perform actions including Replace, Capitalize, Insert, Delete, and Swap to rename selected files at once. You can add multiple actions and then click on Rename selected files option. Rename multiple files one at a time. To rename multiple files with the 'Tab' key, use these steps: Open File Explorer. Quick tip: You can quickly open File Explorer with the icon in the taskbar. When you have many files in a folder, renaming these files individually can take a lot of time. 2. Hit F2 button on your keyboard.
You can also right click and select Rename from the context menu.
3. Rename your first file and hit Enter. The following files will be renamed right after that with an extra number at the end.
